SEND Inspection in Kent - share your views
Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are visiting Kent County Council to inspect the local arrangements for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

IASK is Kent's SENDIAS service. We give free, impartial and confidential information, advice and support about special educational needs and disabilities for children/young people up to age 25 and their parents/carers.
Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are visiting Kent County Council to inspect the local arrangements for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).
Some provisions are already in force, others will begin in stages between June 2026 and September 2027. For parents and carers, the changes include exclusions, home education, admissions, breakfast clubs, school uniform, mobile phones, allergy safety duties.
